This shot was taken on a beautiful January day at the very northern tip of the Isle of Skye, Scotland. Behind the camera is no road only Ocean, and we stand looking back South towards the approach.

We visited Skye in the 90s and you captured the magic of that place beautifully.

You have a wonderful gift of appreciation for life's best, even the tragic ones like the squirrel victim.

Suggest your next trip be to Cuba. Suggest you avoid the "all inclusive" resorts like the plague. Do as we did and stay in B&B's and travel by bus.

We normally rent a car when we travel, but by taking the Viazul buses (think that's the name of them) we were able to travel with lots of ordinary Cubans (well, the middle class anyway). They were very comfortable, on time, cheaper than car rental, had air conditioning & movies and they stopped at great roadside stands.

We took 3 weeks and managed to only cover 2/3 of the island. It's a big, diverse place. Visited Havana, Camaguey, Trinidad, Pinar del Rio, Vinales, Santa Clara, Gibara...

Would live there if we could. Might yet, still. The quality of their society is so much richer and more respectful and joyful than what we have in Canada and the U.S. -- by far.

Wanna know more about traveling in Cuba? Just leave a note here.

Cheers,
CC
